Hidden Acres Puppies

Our Story

Hello to everyone from Hidden Acres Puppies. We are located in central Illinois surrounded by trees and the river flowing right beside us. Our home is quiet and secluded which is the way we and our pets like it. Our grandchildren live close by as well and have a way of making every day brighter when they visit. Our pups especially enjoy their visits. There is always a lot of spoiling taking place. The grandkids are also always willing to help take care of the puppies which is a huge help.

We started raising puppies in 2015 when our son purchased a couple more pets to add to the family. We really enjoy the Siberian Huskies. More recently we have also fallen in love with the golden retriever. So now, of course, we have some of each. And have added to the family some Goldendoodles.

Our sons have since branched out on their own and added Shiba Inu and mini Australian shepherd for one and golden doodles for the other. Working together with all the different breeds make life very interesting! Especially when we have lots of cute little puppies to cuddle. The raising of our dogs is something our entire family works together on.

We trust in Purina pro pet food as our feed of choice and we believe it makes all the difference for the health and well being of our pets. We also keep all our adults and puppies on routine vet checks, vaccination, and de-wormer schedules. We also provide our females with supplements to give them a boost and support them in raising strong healthy puppies.

We and our pups look forward to meeting you!

Wishing you blessings,

The Hochstetter Family

PLEASE DO NOT OVER FEED YOUR DOG! Follow manufacture directions. Over feeding dogs is the greatest cause of cancer and joint problems in dogs. Keep them physically fit with top quality food in the correct quantity and plenty of exercise. Other than an occasional treat of scrambled eggs, some cheeses including cottage cheese we highly discourage human food given to dogs. Dog feed with corn, soy, or wheat products is also discouraged and not recommended. Cooked beef bones from your local butcher can be a healthy treat also. No chicken or turkey bones recommended!
